‘Miss-C’ associated with corona infection: risk to children

Children are more likely to develop Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome (MIS-C), a disease associated with corona infection, if they are not vaccinated against corona, the health ministry said.

Deepal Perera, a specialist at Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital, points out that this could lead to massive complications later on.

He told the media that if they were not given the corona vaccine, they would be at risk of developing complications.
