“Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee We sincerely apologize to our audience for the confusion in the information during the “Trung Vuong” costume performance by designer Nguyen Huy Hoang – Contestant in the National Costume competition.
During the contestant’s performance, the Organizing Committee immediately noticed the mistake in historical details. However, because the program was on air, we could not handle it immediately. Immediately after the performance, we stopped the broadcast and cut out the performance with this mistake. We sincerely apologize and this is a profound lesson for us. We hope that the audience will sympathize.
Previously, during the rehearsal on the evening of July 29, the quote of General Ba Trieu was not used in the performance. The Organizing Committee did not approve the addition of the quote of General Ba Trieu that the designer intended to include in the competition night on the evening of July 30.
However, the technical staff mistakenly used an audio file that was not approved by the Organizing Committee. More than anyone else, the organizers would like to take responsibility for their mistakes and send their sincere apologies to the audience.

The National Costume competition is one of the most anticipated competitions at Miss Grand Vietnam. The winning design will be worn by Vietnam’s representative at the Miss Grand International beauty pageant.
The Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contest currently has 36 contestants competing. According to VanguardThis year, the competition did not hold a semi-final. Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 Final scheduled to take place on August 3 in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province.
