Organizing Committee Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 has just responded to some questions from the audience regarding the final night of the competition. Specifically, the organizing committee confirmed that Dr. Ngo Quynh Hoa – Deputy Director of the Department of Dissemination and Legal Education asked behavioral questions to the contestants, which was announced by the organizing committee from the beginning of the final night.
However, during the process of making the questionnaire, the program crew did not put the ballot with the name of Dr. Ngo Quynh Hoa in the box. The organizers discovered the mistake right at the time when the last contestant in the top 5 – Hanh Nguyen drew lots.

“To show respect for the guest judge, the show’s script tonight Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 FinalCEO Pham Kim Dung – Head of the contest’s Organizing Committee was forced to respond immediately on livestream.
Therefore, there is no story of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 organizing committee “oppressing the contestants” or “clearing the way for the coronation”. The information that “Hanh Nguyen received additional questions” is not true. This issue can be verified with all contestants participating in the final round of the contest.
To ensure fairness for all contestants, the organizing committee previously conducted many training sessions on topics that would be presented in the behavioral section, including legal topics. 36 contestants were trained together, presented their views, thoughts, and especially their skills and strengthened their courage on the big stage.
The organizers affirm that all Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contestants are aware of this information and participate in the same behavioral training sessions,” the organizers said.
Regarding the results of the top 15 and top 10, the organizers explained: “The fact that there are some contestants who have advantages in appearance, beauty and impressive stage performance skills but do not make it further into the top; or the fact that contestants, despite having better responses and presentations about peace, have not been awarded higher prizes, all require the audience’s understanding from a professional perspective.
Each year the contestant base will be different, and this year’s format has many innovations that are closer to the international competition with the addition of the Grand Voice Award, the Best Seller Award that goes straight to the top 10 finalists, in addition to the Popular Vote award like every year.
Therefore, the competition rate is even higher to compete for a place in the top 10. The judges’ decision is based on the perception and evaluation of many aspects…
…For a long time, our guiding principle has been to find a beauty queen who has the beauty and personality of Vietnamese women. In particular, she must have a lot of potential to accompany the contest for a long time with a ready mindset. We do not stop at choosing a beauty queen who only shines on the final night.
For confidentiality and humanity, the organizing committee does not provide detailed information and reasons why the contestants were not selected to become specific winners. However, in case it is necessary to protect the honor of the contest and the organizing committee, we will consider announcing information to the media within the appropriate scope.
The organizers hope the audience will give Miss Vo Le Que Anh more time, more opportunity to prove fully worthy of the title.
