Kyiv: A missile strike in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, shortly after UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and his delegation visited the Russian-occupied territories. The incident happened on Thursday evening, local time.
A Ukrainian journalist, Vera Girich, has been killed in a missile attack. The missile landed in the apartment where Vera was staying. They had been working for Radio Liberty in the US.
At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry admitted that Kiev had been attacked. Russia says production buildings of the Artem Missile and Space Enterprise in Kiev have crashed their rockets.
Guterres and his team were shocked by the missile attack. A UN spokesman said everyone on the UN team was safe. Guterres arrived in Kiev after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
At the same time, Russian shelling continues in the eastern regions of Ukraine. Norway says it has banned all cargo vehicles, including Russian trucks and ships, at the border and in ports, except for fishing vessels. The Netherlands opened their embassy in Kiev.
Russia says one person has been killed in a Ukrainian attack in the Donetsk region. Police say the bodies of 1,187 civilians have so far been found in mass graves, including in Kiev Bucha.

Putin and Selensky to attend G20 summit
Indonesian Prime Minister Joko Widodo has announced that he has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selensky to attend the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia in November this year.
Russia is a key member of the G20. Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he will attend the summit. However, it is not clear whether to participate directly or virtually.
