SEOUL: North Korea test-fired two short-range missiles from a train yesterday in retaliation for a US embargo. The United Nations says North Korea continues to test missiles and nuclear weapons, despite sanctions from countries including the United States.

Corona infection, sanctions, President Kim Jong Un’s administrative mistakes have led to reports of a severe food famine in North Korea. However, North Korea did not stop the missile test. In this context, the United States imposed additional sanctions on North Korea for two recent missile tests. However, to challenge this, North Korea test-fired two consecutive short-range missiles from a train the day before yesterday.

Two missiles passed 430 km off South Korea at an altitude of 36 km in 11 minutes and destroyed the target at sea. This is the 3rd test to be conducted this month. Already, North Korea has tested a long-range missile on the 5th and a hypersonic missile on the 11th.
