Kazhakoottam Child Missing Case: A 13-year-old girl who went missing from Kazhakoottam in Thiruvananthapuram district last Tuesday and was later found in Visakhapatnam has been brought back home. The girl will be shifted to CWC shelter. The boy is back this afternoon with the special investigation team.

The 13-year-old girl was found in Visakhapatnam after 37 hours after she went missing. ​​​​​​Representatives of the Malayali Association in Visakhapatnam received the child. The child was found on the Tambaram Express. ​Representatives of the Malaysian Association found the child lying on the deck and took him to Visakhapatnam.

The child was found on the train en route to Assam and was under the protection of the RPF in Visakhapatnam. On Tuesday, the child left a rented house in Kazhakootam after a quarrel with his mother and tried to go to his native Assam by train. The child’s wish is to come to Assam and continue his studies with his grandfather and grandmother.
