the body of Karolayne Cristina do Nascimento Neves, 22, was found on Thursday night (25) in Conquista D’Oeste (MT) decapitated and with his limbs tied by a rope. The young woman had been missing since May 28.
What happened?
A pedestrian was walking along Estrada da Serra, in the Santa Clara community, when he saw a hand coming out of a hole and called the Military Police.
When carrying out the procedures to remove the earth, the Civil Police found the body with the head cut off beside it, with hands and legs tied by a rope.
The hole where the body was was opened by the municipal government to remove gravel used in the road embankment.
To the UOLCivil informed that the body was without documentation, so a DNA test was carried out, which confirmed Karolayne’s identity.
Investigations continue to identify the perpetrator of the crime.
