“Unfortunately, we could not reach any conclusions due to the persistent refusal of Hungary and Poland,” said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his statements after the end of the Summit, pointing out the need to guard the borders.
“Regarding the protection of the external borders, the cooperation with the countries of origin of immigration, the return of those who are not entitled to asylum to the countries of origin, there is a universal agreement of the member states”, he emphasized.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted the “need to cooperate with the countries of North Africa and to crush the networks of traffickers so that vulnerable people do not enter the sappiocarava”.

As for dealing with accuracy, Mr. Mitsotakis said that “the household basket will continue for another six months”, as “it was a successful measure”, which “was copied by other countries”, saying that “in the program statements I will be more specific about the government’s response to inflation.”

Asked to comment on Tsipras’ resignation, Mr. Mitsotakis refused to answer, noting that the main concern is the implementation of the government project.
