The chairman of the Otzma Yehudit party, MK Itamar Ben Gvir, arrived this evening (Thursday) at Kibbutz Ayelet Hashar in the north of our country and was received with applause by a hundred residents of the kibbutz, who welcomed him and cheered him.
In light of the fact that holding the conference in the kibbutz club was prevented by the kibbutz committee, Ben Gvir held the conference on the street of the kibbutz and addressed the residents. Beside Ben Gabir came the candidates of Otzma Yehudit, Brigadier General Tzvika Vogel, resident of the north, Yitzhak Waserlauf and Almog Cohen.
In front of Ben Gvir, a number of demonstrators from extreme leftist organizations arrived who tried to interfere with the existence of the event. Ben Gabir said during the event: “We organized a conference here at the request of dozens of kibbutz members, who wanted to hear us, and this caused the kibbutz committee to try to take down the shelter and shut us up.
Ibtisam Marana, who supports the destruction of Zikrhon Yaakov, was here – and she was not prevented from performing at the kibbutz club. Freedom of speech is also our freedom. It won’t help you shut your mouths – you won’t silence us.”
Ben Gvir addressed the residents of the kibbutz, including those opposed to the conference, and said: “We are here for you as well. The agricultural terrorism does not only harm Itamar Ben Gvir – but you. Those who want protection and take over the lands in the Galilee, want to harm the entire people of Israel. They know that we will protect IDF soldiers, we will grant immunity to our soldiers and change the opening fire instructions. They know that we will win, because it really is time for us to return and be the owners of this country.”
