Villupuram: Chief Minister MK Stalin has said that a strong India can be built only by creating strong villages.

He also stressed that the whole of Tamil Nadu should become an equality city.

After about ten years, Samadhuvapuram with 100 houses has been set up at a cost of Rs. 2.68 crore in Kozhuvari panchayat of Villupuram district. Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated the Periyar Memorial Equality House yesterday. Speaking at the time, he said that people were saying that there was no decline after the DMK took over in Tamil Nadu.

The Chief Minister also said that the Home Department should be the sector that is closest to the people and should be the sector that immediately makes plans for the people.

“The Samathuwapura project is a testament to the fact that the last ten years of AIADMK rule have been dark. According to the DMK, the desire is for the whole of Tamil Nadu to become an equality city.

Only by creating strong villages can a strong India be built. Funds were allocated for the Kozhuvari Samathuwapura project in 2010 itself. But the plan was abandoned due to regime change, ”the chief minister said.
