Fans cast millions of votes for the leading players him All-Star Game 2024presented by Mastercard, and on Sunday evening the bench players and pitchers who will complete the rosters of the American League and the National League for the duel that will be played on Tuesday, July 16 at Globe Life Field on ESPN from Arlington, Texas.
This year’s rosters are loaded with rookies, with 32 players receiving their first All-Star selection. That’s not to say you won’t see a perennial pick: 13 other players have received at least their third consecutive pick, a group led by Mookie Betts (eighth in a row) and Freddie Freeman (sixth).
There are also 24 All-Stars born outside the US on the 2024 rosters, with players representing the Dominican Republic (10 All-Stars), Venezuela (six), Japan (two), Puerto Rico (two), Canada (one), Cuba (one), Curacao (one) and Mexico (one).
