Thodupuzha: Former minister and CPM leader M.M. has called upon the plantation workers to deal with him. Former MLA of the party criticized Mani. Rajendran.

MM Rajendran openly said that he no longer wants to work in a party where people like Mani continue to be leaders. He told the ‘Madhyamya’ that Mani is out of balance and is preaching lies against him.

Mani’s controversial remarks against Rajendran were made at the Devikulam Estate Employees Union (CITU) annual conference held in Old Munnar on Sunday. Mani’s appeal to the workers was that Rajendran, who showed ungratefulness to the party, should not be spared and should be corrected.

However, Rajendran replied that Mani’s aim was to divide the plantation workers. He came to the platform of a union that he worked hard for and preached that he should be dealt with.

He has worked for the party in every crisis. None of them were there that time. Those who do not show justice to the people of Pettimudi say against him.

Some people are making people say things against him. Thank you for the rice. Mani attacks himself to show his gratitude to those whose rice he eats. They will not allow anyone to emerge as a leader from among the workers. He has the ability to cope when it comes to handling.

He lived on the salary of MLA. No money was taken from the workers. The party state committee should have barred Mani from controversial speeches. Votes for CPM may decrease in the upcoming elections as well.

If he goes back to the party, he will have to face the blame. Rajendran added that he no longer wants to work in the CPM and asked that membership alone is enough.
