On the 4th, Kakao Entertainment’s music platform Melon announced that it will hold ‘MMA2024’ at Inspire Arena on November 30th. Kakao Bank will be the title sponsor again this year.
‘MMA’, which widely honors and publicizes artists’ achievements over the past year through Melon’s objective data, user voting, and expert evaluation, has established itself as the largest music awards ceremony and festival in Korea.
‘MMA’ was first held online in 2005, and then expanded to offline in 2009, becoming an annual event for fans and artists.
The slogan for this year’s ‘MMA2024’ is ‘New Stream of K-POP’. Melon, the leading music platform that has been leading the domestic music industry ecosystem by establishing a legal digital music market for the past 20 years, now has a vision to present a new flow and trend of K-POP.
Additionally, it also contains the message that they will show another world that will be created with music at ‘MMA2024’ where everyone around the world who loves K-pop will participate.
This year, ‘MMA2024’ will be held for the second consecutive year at the Inspire Arena located in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, just like last year. Inspire Arena, operated by Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, is Korea’s first multipurpose indoor performance hall with a seating capacity of 15,000. It features a world-class sound system, a stage that can be easily transformed depending on the event, and a seating design that increases the convenience of the audience and the interaction with the artists without obstructing the view.
Melon will be holding various pre-promotions armed with gifts optimized for music fans, such as an event where you can enjoy the legendary stages of ‘MMA’ and tickets to ‘MMA2024’.
