Every citizen of the country is troubled by fake calls and messages. In such a situation, the government has changed the telecom rules, which is going to give great relief to mobile users. According to the new rules, telecom companies will be given the option to ignore such calls and messages. Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that earlier the rule was different. Mobile users had to ask telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, BSNL and Vodafone-Idea to stop marketing and promotional calls and messages. However, now after the new rule, the matter has turned upside down. Now mobile users can opt out of the option to stop marketing calls and messages automatically. Meaning telecom companies will ask customers whether they want marketing calls and messages or not? Those who want marketing calls and messages can request to opt in.1 lakh mobile sites will be operational by next year
Union Telecom Minister Joytiraditya Scindia has given an update on BSNL’s 4G rollout. If the minister is to be believed, 100,000 4G sites will be made operational by June next year. In this way, maximum bandwidth can be provided to BSNL’s customers who have 8 percent market share. BSNL is making a comeback. If we talk about the month of July, then BSNL has added the maximum number of users in July. In this case, BSNL has left behind Jio, Airtel, Vodafone-Idea.

Retaining customers is a big challenge

After the tariff hike, a large number of mobile users are switching to BSNL. However, it will be a challenge for BSNL to keep these customers connected with its network. For this, BSNL is developing a customer relationship management (CRM) model. The government is also working to strengthen BSNL. For this, better connectivity is being provided. The government has recently announced a government fund of Rs 6,000 crore. The government is trying to extend 4G coverage to about 98 percent of India’s districts.
