Mobilization of street vending Training for 36 Asturian waiters through ‘Mercaemprende’

Josué has a stall selling socks at the El Fontán summer market. He is one of the 36 students who were trained through the ‘Mercaemprende’ program of the Secretariat Xitanu Foundation in Asturies.

In 150 hours, the street vendors, all under 30 years of age, were trained in digitalization and marketing techniques to improve their professional qualifications.

The second edition of ‘Mercaemprende’ in Asturies was financed by the Principality’s public employment service through European ‘Next Generation’ funds.
