In front of a packed house, Emma’a, a rising star of the Gabonese pop scene, captivated festival-goers with her melodious voice, her unique musical performance and her presence on stage.
The audience was transported by the charm and energy of this talented Gabonese artist, accompanying her in chorus, humming the lyrics of her hit songs, including “Grand Bandit”, “Encré” and “Rappelle-moi”.
Rapper Ouenza hosted the second part of this colorful show, performing songs from his new mixtape “Alam”, including “A7lam”, “Li Fate”, “La tête” and “Papi”, creating a lively atmosphere in the room.
This young Moroccan artist presented, to the acclaim of the audience, a mixture of several musical genres, including rap, pop and rock, all with a very particular Moroccan touch, thus highlighting the diversity of his artistic talent.
The festival-goers were in perfect symbiosis with the rhythms of Ouenza’s rap and for those who knew his songs by heart, they were able to create a real connection with the rapper, thus sharing an unforgettable moment.
The 8th edition of the MOCA festival, a platform for cultural and creative industries, is organized from May 18 to 21 in Rabat under the theme “For a sustainable Made In Africa”, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in partnership with United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLGA), the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the city of Rabat as well as the Federation of Cultural and Creative Industries of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), the Hiba and Al Mada Foundations, and with the support of the National Museum Foundation.
In addition to concerts, conferences and round tables, the program of this edition includes investor pitches, business meetings, guided tours, think tanks as well as virtual reality workshops dedicated to young people.
