Jumbo supports the talented Manny Cruz, Dominican singer and songwriter, with the launch of his sports footwear brand in collaboration with the international tennis brand JAVI USA.

Thursday, December 14, 2023, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic-Moda Jumbo exclusively launched the first collection of sports shoes by the talented Dominican singer-songwriter, Manny Cruz: “Manny Bits”. This first installment of the collection, made in collaboration with the Dominican designer JAVI USA, is made up of sports shoes for women, men and young people, the collection is inspired by Dominican music, art and culture.

Manny Cruz detailed the inspiration behind his first collection in the world of fashion, “They say that looking good is feeling good, and although I consider myself a simple person when it comes to dressing, footwear has always been a very important piece.” for me”. He continued explaining that he decided to venture into this project because he saw the opportunity to express in a different way his life, which in the end revolves around art, and he considers that these sneakers are full of that. “This collection is full of art and expresses well-being, self-expression, an active lifestyle and also allows you to collect a lot of memories and experiences,” concluded the artist.

The launch event took place at Jumbo Luperón, where clients and media guests learned the details of the collection first-hand. After that, all customers who bought shoes from the collection received an autograph from the singer.

The collection not only has the inspiration of Manny Cruz, who was looking for another channel to express his art, but also brings the talent of fashion designer Javier Santana, who takes his inspiration from art, music and street style or “ street style” to make their creations under the JAVI USA brand at their headquarters in New York.
In addition to the footwear, the collection is accompanied by several promotional items from the “Santo Domingo” brand, alluding to the successful song composed by the artist in 2020.
