Models falling on the ramp is nothing new. Many such videos have gone viral on social media over the years. But what made this year’s Milan Fashion Week different was the sight of models walking down the ramp. The highlight of the fall is the presentation of the ‘Filthy Rich’ collection by the label ‘AVAVAV’.

At first, onlookers thought the model had really fallen. Later, when the collection was presented and all the models on the ramp started falling, people realized that this incident was intentional. The company’s CEO, Beth Calson, later noted that the models’ fall meant that it could pretend to be rich, but that it could collapse at any time.

High furry boots, dollar sign emblems, oversized jackets, hoodies and new splash colors are introduced by Filthy Rich.

Luxury fashion brand Gucci also took center stage at Milan Fashion Week with 68 twin models on the ramp. Gucci introduced a collection called Twins Burg. The special ramp is a tribute to the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele’s mother and her twin sister. The show was called Gucci Twinsburg.

‘I am the son of two mothers, Eralda and Guilena. Two extraordinary women who have made duality the ultimate hallmark of their existence. They were one body. Dressed the same. Hair tied up. They were incredibly similar. They were my world’ – Alessandro Michele noted in the announcement about the show. The note was shared through Instagram.
