Throwing away his responsibility and duty for the post of governor, RN Ravi, who is acting like the state president of Tamil Nadu BJP with Hindutva ideology, recently deliberately raised the issue by saying that it should not be called Tamil Nadu, but Tamil Nadu and hurt the sentiments of Tamils. He retracted that he had not said so after the fiercest opposition.
Currently, the name ‘TAMIL NADU’ is written as ‘TAMIL NAIDU’ on the central government’s mygov.in website, which is a continuation of the same. There is little chance that this was an oversight or typo. It is deliberately written with the intention of defaming Tamils and Tamil Nadu as a whole.
Through this, it has become clear how much hostility and hatred the religious BJP government has towards the Tamils. It has also been exposed that Prime Minister Modi’s talk about the pride of Tamil language and the pride of Tamil culture is an empty political play.
Therefore, on behalf of the Tamil Nadu party, I request that the central ruling BJP government should apologize to the people of Tamil Nadu for deliberately misprinting the name Tamil Nadu as ‘TAMIL NAIDU’ on the website and immediately correct it and publish it as ‘TAMIL NADU’ without error,” the statement said.
