New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi has said that he will not be afraid of Modi’s threats. In the National Herald case, the enforcement department officials yesterday sealed the ‘Young India’ organization in which Congress president Sonia Gandhi and former president Rahul Gandhi are directors. Following this, there was a commotion as the police were gathered around Sonia Gandhi’s Delhi house. The issue was raised in Parliament by MPs of Congress and its allies.

In an interview given by Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament complex yesterday, ‘We will not be afraid of intimidation in the matter of National Herald. Congress is not afraid of PM Modi’s threats. To protect the country and democracy, we will continue to work towards social harmony. Whatever they do, we will continue to do our work. The truth cannot be prevented,’ he said. Also, in his post on Twitter, he said, ‘They think that if they put more pressure, they can suppress us. We will not be silent. Whatever Modi and Amit Shah are doing against democracy, we will fight against it. They don’t care about whatever they do,’ he said.

Who is running away?
When Rahul was asked about Baja’s statement that ‘one cannot escape from the clutches of the law,’ he said, ‘Who said that he was running away? They are the ones talking. Congress MPs raised issues in both the Houses of Parliament regarding the functioning of the Enforcement Directorate. They said that an adjournment resolution should be brought to discuss this. But the government did not give permission,’ he replied.
