The National Examinations Center announced, “Modifying the results of the first round exams for a number of secondary school completion certificate students after reviewing appeals submitted by 98,000 students.”

The center indicated that “the results of 85,401 students in the science department and 12,787 students in the arts department were modified after the appeals were decided.”

The director of the center, Ahmed Masoud, stated that “the number of students whose results changed from failure to success reached 388 students in the science section and 23 students in the arts section after they were given full marks after it was proven through the review processes that there were errors in a number of questions.”

Masoud explained, “The grades were awarded based on two questions in mathematics, one question in Arabic language “reading and texts” for the science section, two questions in statistics, and one question in sociology for the arts section.”

The director of the center indicated that “students can now view their results after they have been modified in the examination system on the link .

He explained that “the announcement of the results of the second round of the Basic Education Completion Certificate will be at the beginning of next week at the latest.”
