This sports infrastructure, inaugurated by the governor of the prefecture of Mohammedia, Hicham M’daghri Alaoui, and a delegation that accompanied him, covers an area of 9,500 square meters, with a capacity of 3,813 places.
The project was carried out with a budget of 41.5 million dirhams (MDH), divided between contributions within the framework of the convention relating to the development program of Greater Casablanca (24 MDH), the municipality of Mohammedia – project owner (15 MDH) and the region of Casablanca-Settat (2.5 MDH).
On this occasion, the general manager of the Casablanca Events and Animation company, Mohamed Jouahri, indicated that this indoor hall, part of the convention of the development program of Greater Casablanca, is a source of pride for the city of Mohammedia and the Casablanca-Settat region.
He stressed, in a statement to MAP, that this hall adds to the existing sports infrastructure to strengthen and improve the sports offer in the region, indicating that this facility will allow hosting various sports competitions, including futsal, basketball, handball and volleyball.
It should be noted that this sports area includes a multi-sports hall, a room dedicated to gymnastics, offices for associations, changing rooms, sanitary facilities and green spaces.
