RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that India needs population control policy. If such steps are not taken, the nation will lose its identity due to ‘religious inequality’ and ‘forced conversions’. He pointed to the examples of Kosovo and South Sudan, which have problems due to religious ‘inequality’. He was speaking at RSS’ Dussehra rally in Nagpur.
“Along with population control, population equality on the basis of religion is also important. It cannot be forgotten. This disparity makes a difference even across geographical boundaries.
Population needs resources. If the population increases without sufficient resources, it becomes a burden. A population policy should be formulated keeping in mind the interest of all. Women should be given freedom to work. Equal rights should be given in all areas. We must bring changes in our homes.
It should also be conveyed to the society through the organization. If women are not given equality, the country will not progress. Mohan Bhagwat added that the society exists depending on women and men.
