NS Madhavan was responding to a tweet from Amazon Prime Video India that it would nominate the three best actors of all time. NS Madhavan mentioned the names of Jack Nicholson, Marlon Brando and Mohanlal respectively. NS Madhavan’s words have already been taken over by Mohanlal fans. The film is being produced by Ashirwad Cinemas. The film was announced in April 2019. The shooting of the film was delayed due to various reasons. Mohanlal had said that he would eventually skip the shooting of the film due to Kovid and would skip some parts of the film saying that the continuity would be lost.
Mohanlal’s Burrows’ is based on the story of Jijo, who directed India’s first 3D film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’. It was initially rumored that actor Prithviraj will also be seen in a major role in the film. Later, due to a date clash, there were unconfirmed reports that he had withdrawn from the film. The film also stars Spanish actors Pas Vega and Rafael Amargo. Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer.
