Mohanlal-Lijo Jose Pellissery film ‘Malaikottai Valiban’ collected 5.85 crores from theaters in Kerala on its first day. It has collected more than 1 crore from outside Kerala. The gross collection of the movie is 12.27 crore including GCC and overseas collection.
There are also reports that the film collected Rs 2 crore on the second day.
Mohanlal is coming to the film as Malaikottai Valiban, who goes to many lands and fights with the Mallans and defeats them.
The film is also dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. In Hindi, the voice of Mohanlal’s character is given by famous director Anurag Kashyap.
Sonali Kulkarni, Harish Peradi, Danish Saith, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, Manikandan Achari and many other stars are playing the lead roles in the film. Mohanlal has shared the new poster of the film on social media.
