Moldtrans increased its turnover by 31% in the last year, registering growth in all its divisions, especially in maritime and air transport, as well as international.

Specifically, the turnover in Spain and Portugal exceeded 135 million euros in 2022. The group highlights in a note published this Tuesday that the maritime and air transport division grew by 49%, thanks to the promotion of international routes and the growth of the lines with the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.

The company reports that these figures have led it to reinforce its ‘Sea Air Freight’ division to continue promoting the Challenge 20|23 project, which seeks to consolidate and expand its current operational structure focused on sea and air transport services.

For its part, the international land division of the Moldtrans Group Billing improved by 22% and logistics grew by 19%.

The company has 13 offices in Spain and Portugal, with a total workforce of 450 employees, to which is added a “wide network” of European correspondents and agents in the main ports and airports.

The president of the Moldtrans Group, Carlos Moldes, has declared that they closed the last financial year with very positive results in all its lines of business, which are “a reflection of the momentum” experienced by the transport and logistics sector.

The Spanish operator comments that it has launched a special projects division focused on the transport of oversized products. In addition, the group “has taken a new step in its environmental commitment” by joining the European initiative ‘Lean & Green’.
