Max Verstappen has zero desire to race in Las Vegas. The Dutchman, who acknowledged that he only knows the route from the Formula 1 video game, has attacked a Grand Prix that some have tried to compare with Monaco but which, according to him, has little to do with it.

This is how the three-time world champion expressed himself: “We are there more for the show and the spectacle than for the race itself, seeing what the track is like.”

“That doesn’t interest me so much anymore. I’ll go, do my thing and leave,” says the Red Bull driver in words recorded in ‘Motorsport’.

And then, Monte Carlo: “Monaco is history. The place itself. Everyone wants to race there at least once. You can’t compare them.”

Las Vegas has a complicated mission ahead. The design of the track does not convince the three-time world champion, and Bernie Ecclestone himself has positioned himself completely against this race.

Furthermore, the cold is going to be more than important for a race in which ticket sales are not advancing, even remotely, at the pace they expected.

Meanwhile, the casinos. Mercedes, just in case, has prohibited all of its workers from setting foot in any of them.
