Finding Your Way on Twitch
The Twitch platform has its own vocabulary – yes, this platform was created in the United States, so this vocabulary is in English. Translating these terms would mean losing precision and understanding.
As we are talking about a newspaper and a subscription formula, we must therefore make a distinction between subscribing to Mediapart and subscribing to the Mediapart Twitch channel. On Twitch, subscribing to a channel is called “follow”. Paying a support subscription is called taking a “sub”.
