Monetary Assistance Program ‘Renta Joven’ to Benefit Nearly 40,000 Students: Payment Cycle Runs from July 24 to August 2

• This cycle of payments for the cash transfer program will run until August 2. 

• 39,876 participants studying at SENA will receive the incentive. 

Bogotá, D.C., July 23, 2024. Prosperidad Social informs that from July 24 to August 2, it will deliver the third cycle of incentives of the Renta Joven program.

The director of the entity, Gustavo Bolívar @GustavoBolivar, reported that 39,876 participants will receive the incentive; of these, 22,182 are women. 

This cycle provides resources to SENA students, verified for the period February – March 2024. The investment for this delivery will be 15.505 million pesos.

The departments with the highest number of participants receiving payment in the third cycle are: Atlántico (5,052), Bogotá (3,773), Antioquia (3,556), Valle del Cauca (2,898), and Bolívar (2,861). 

Payment Schedule 

The entity has defined the schedule for all of 2024, and the details are available on the program portal: 

 

• First cycle: completed, from April 26 to May 10.  

• Second cycle: in process, from July 11 to July 25.  

• Third cycle:  in process, from July 24 to August 2 (SENA February and March). 

• Fourth cycle: from August 26 to September 9 (enrollment 2024-1 and SENA April and May). 

• Fifth cycle: from October 18 to November 1 (permanence and excellence IES 2024-1 and SENA June and July). 

• Sixth cycle: from December 17 to December 31 (enrollment IES 2024-2 and SENA August and September). 

Payment Operator 

Payments for Renta Joven are handled by Daviplata, which is the electronic wallet of Davivienda. 

Payment dates will be confirmed through the official channels of Prosperidad Social. It is important for participants to stay tuned to the official media of Prosperidad Social and the Daviplata website to receive this information. 

Young people who do not have a bank account to receive payment have the option to open one independently, for free and permanently with the payment operator.
