New Delhi: For the first time in India, a person from Kerala was diagnosed with monkey measles on July 14. Apart from him, three more cases of monkey measles have been confirmed in Kerala.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man who returned to Kerala from the United Arab Emirates on the 27th was confirmed to be infected with monkey measles yesterday. With this, the number of monkey measles cases in Kerala has increased to 5.

A 35-year-old foreigner was diagnosed with this infection yesterday while 2 people were already confirmed to have monkey measles in Delhi. Due to this, the number of people affected by monkey measles in Delhi has increased to 3. So far 8 people have been infected in the country.
