The incident took place in Chungqing municipality in southwest China. As the girl was walking down the street, a monkey the size of her height ran slowly and hit her. The head was gripped tightly but fortunately no major injuries were reported.
After dragging the girl to the ground, the monkey tried to drag her to the floor. Those present immediately came and rescued the girl from the monkey.

The girl sustained minor injuries to her head when the monkey hit her hard. Doctors are also examining whether there are any internal injuries. The doctors first vaccinated the girl.

During the investigation, the girl’s mother, Liu, went outside while the girl was cooking at home. That’s when this incident happened. The footage was recorded on a CCTV camera installed in the house next door.

Residents of Chungqing said the same monkey came to the area in May last year and attacked some people at the time. Fearing that the monkey might return, they demanded that it be captured and released into the wild.
