Montesilvano, challenge between 1800 athletes for the Italian youth championships – Pescara

MONTESILVANO. Next weekend, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June, Montesilvano becomes the Italian capital of the youth triathlon. Over 1,800 athletes arriving in the city for an event, which in the absence of Covid, would have hosted over 8,000 admissions.

Participants compete in the hunt for the national title of aquathlon, a specialty of triathlon, and of the Italian Cup and Italian Trophy of triathlon. The scenario of the event, organized by the councilor for Sport Alessandro Pompei, is the Aldo Moro seafront, at the height of Via Marinelli in the free beach of the Jova Beach Party area, where the triathletes will gather for the start and where they will arrive for the closure of their race.

THE CLOSED ROADS. Starting tomorrow (Friday 4 June) until Sunday 6 June from 5 to 8 pm the stretch of the seafront from via Marinelli to via Torrente Piomba will be closed. Saturday 5 June from 7 to 20 the stretch of waterfront between viale Europa and via Torrente Piomba also closed. Sunday 6 June from 7 to 20 the stretch of the seafront between Viale Europa and Via Adige is also closed.

The event is organized by the Forhans Team in collaboration with the sports association Project Ultraman Montesilvano, and with Fitri, which will be present in all the scheduled races with its staff to allow the perfect success of the two days of competition.
