Montpellier qualified for the Champions League by beating Chambéry (28-27) on the last day of the championship on Tuesday.
Winner of Chambéry at home 28-27, Montpellier finished in second place in the French Handball Championship, synonymous with qualification for the Champions League, on Tuesday during the 30th and last day.
After the tenth coronation of Paris SG on Friday, all eyes were on the second place disputed by Montpellier and Nantes.
