The document also stated that North Korea installed ‘minefield signs’ without prior notice, blocking the access of our military verification team.

The documents were classified as secret by the Ministry of Defense, so they could not be made public. However, this fact was made public when the Ministry of National Defense declassified the documents today (22nd).

As a result, it was revealed that the report announcing the results of the GP disablement mutual verification conducted by the Ministry of National Defense on December 12, 2018 was false.

Yoo said, “It is fortunate that the decision of the Ministry of National Defense allows us to inform the public of the truth about the North Korean GP’s poor verification,” adding, “There is a need to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the Moon Jae-in administration’s announcement of North Korea’s poor GP verification and take strict action against illegal activities.” He emphasized.
