MOP begins paving and improvement works on internal streets in El Zonte

The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) began road improvement works and construction of adequate roads in different parts of the country, with the purpose of improving mobility, economic and social development of Salvadoran families.

The head of the MOP supervised the beginning of the improvement and paving of the internal streets of the El Zonte beach sector, Chiltiupán, in La Libertad.

“We are going to start with the cobblestone process and also paving different streets of El Zonte, we are going to intervene at this moment approximately 1.3 kilometers (…), we are going to pave 600 meters and the rest we are going to pave,” said Rodríguez.

These works executed by the Ministry of Public Works in El Zonte are framed in the 10 economic impulses that the Government implements, to empower El Salvador in terms of tourism.
