An 18-year-old man was indicted for murder after the discovery on Wednesday of the body of a sexagenarian in the park of a castle in Erdeven, in Morbihan, we learned on Sunday from the public prosecutor of Lorient. During his police custody, the young man recognized “quite generally the facts, without really explaining them” and affirmed “not to know the victim and to have had, beforehand, no incident with her”, indicated in a press release Stéphane Kellenberger, public prosecutor of Lorient.

On Wednesday, at the end of the afternoon, a walker had discovered the lifeless body of a 63-year-old woman in the park of the castle of Keravéon in Erdeven, a town located about thirty kilometers east of Lorient. The autopsy identified “wounds, exclusively on the victim’s skull and face and apparently caused by blunt objects”, explained the prosecutor, specifying that “a mallet and a bottle glasses” bloodied were found at the scene.

The respondent, “originally from the region”, and who has no “particular background”, indicated “having used a hammer-type tool, previously taken with him”, further specifies the prosecution. . He was remanded in custody and faces life imprisonment.
