A major disaster was averted tonight (Sunday). The residents of Tekoa were ordered to lock themselves in houses after a terrorist armed with a knife entered the settlement and climbed the fence of a house in the settlement.
A member of Tekoa’s stand-by squad identified the terrorist, fired at him and killed him. In his swift action, a member of the standby platoon prevented a major attack after three other terrorists who planned to infiltrate the settlement fled the scene after the first terrorist was eliminated.
The attack prevented the vigilance of the son of a member of the alert squad who identified four suspicious figures and reported this to his father who initiated a suspicious arrest and shooting procedure at the terrorist.
