Berlin – Roofs and courtyards should be greened, riverside paths on rivers and canals should be made accessible and more street trees should be planted – these are three of many demands from the Charter for Berlin’s Urban Greenery and the associated program of action. But although the Senate approved the charter in April 2020, it has not yet been approved by the House of Representatives.
