by time news

A United Nations agency has warned that more workers may be forced into low-income jobs as the global economy slows.

The International Workers’ Union of the United Nations has pointed out that while prices around the world are rising faster than people’s incomes, more and more people are being pushed into poverty.

Meanwhile, it is predicted that the unemployment rate in the world may increase.

Low growth, rising prices – both at the same time is called stagflation – hyperinflation.

Hyperinflation is the first time since the 1970s, the organization said in its annual World Employment and Social Situation report.
