MORE QUILTS TO “SHELTER”… IN CHICAGO AND KANSAS
A few months ago, the artist María Bueno, in collaboration with her mother Ángeles Castellano and a group of “quilters” in the US, embarked on creating quilts for women users of different pro-abortion clinics in different US states. .USA that still resist; among them Texas and now Chicago and Kansas, as a form of protest after the Law of June 24, 2022, in which the Supreme Court of the United States decided that the right of women to decide voluntarily, individually and privately Termination of her pregnancy, in turn guaranteed in the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution, was dismissed.
