More than 1.7 million people voted online in Moscow

Over 1.7 million people took part in online voting in the election of deputies to the State Duma of the VIII convocation in Moscow in two days. This is evidenced by the data of the operational headquarters for monitoring the voting, reports TASS.

“There are more than 2 million citizens in the register. More than 1.7 million have voted,” according to the information screens of the headquarters.

In Russia, from September 17 to 19, elections to the State Duma are held, and in Moscow, by-elections of the Moscow City Duma deputies are held in two districts and the elections of municipal deputies in the Shchukino area. All of these elections can be voted online. To do this, residents of the capital need to register through the portal. Residents with permanent registration in the capital and with a full account on the portal will be able to vote online in Moscow.
