More than 250 classes in Kuban schools quarantined due to COVID-19

On the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, the number of school classes that were quarantined due to coronavirus increased again. According to the operational headquarters of the region, as of December 9, 255 classes in 126 schools in the largest cities and almost all regions were closed in the Kuban.

– In the Krasnodar Territory there are no kindergartens and schools closed for COVID-19 quarantine, but due to confirmed cases of coronavirus, 140 groups in 60 kindergartens and 12 groups in 9 colleges and technical schools are also closed, the headquarters noted.

According to the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, over the past 24 hours, 677 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the region, almost half of them are residents of Krasnodar. 29 people died, 106 are in serious condition on ventilators and ECMOs.

As previously reported, 257 classrooms were closed in schools last week, but by December 6, some of them went to school.
