The Supervisory Board of the Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Citizens – Participants in Shared Construction has decided to provide apartments and compensation to almost 1.7 thousand equity holders, follows from the publication of the press service of the Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Citizens – Participants in Shared Construction.

This money will help 1,688 citizens who have purchased housing in the Yaroslavl, Rostov, Omsk, Moscow and Vladimir regions, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar Territories and the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin is quoted as saying

It also clarified that it is planned to complete the construction of five houses, in which 391 people are registered as victims. And for 15 objects, compensation will be paid, which will be able to receive 1297 people. The Fund informs that 14 developers did not fulfill their obligations to the mentioned citizens. In total, it is planned to allocate more than 3.6 billion rubles to finance measures to restore the rights of equity holders.

In September, the press service of the Fund reported that more than 3.9 billion rubles will be allocated to restore the rights of over 1,400 people who have suffered from the actions of unscrupulous developers. It was indicated that these equity holders are located in the Kaluga, Rostov, Ivanovo and Moscow regions, the Khabarovsk Territory and the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Earlier, Khusnullin said that the government plans to solve the problem of defrauded equity holders in 2023. There were 200,000 defrauded equity holders in Russia, 16,000 problems were resolved in 2019, and 48,000 in 2020. According to him, the problems of defrauded equity holders in Moscow and the completion of problem houses has been largely resolved.
