On September 4, at least 4 traffic accidents were reported in different areas of El Salvador, resulting in injuries and fatalities.
Comandos de Salvamento reported that, in the early morning, a person died in a traffic accident after his car overturned at kilometer 309 of the Pan-American Highway West near Redondel Colombia, Quezaltepeque.
In addition, in the early hours of the morning they attended an accident on the Pan-American Highway at the Apilo detour between a minibus and a truck. This accident resulted in four people injured, of which two were admitted to a medical center.
Another accident recorded on September 4 was that of a motorcyclist who lost control and fell on this Sonsonate highway near Surco, trying to avoid hitting a dog. The motorcyclist suffered a possible fracture in her right lower limb and was taken to a health center.
“Rescue Commands Respond to a traffic accident on Juan Pablo II and 9a Av. Nte ss between a sedan vehicle and a motorcycle, leaving one person injured. The motorcyclist is transferred to the ISSSS,” said Comandos in reference to another accident.
