Russian forces have entered Ukraine and are advancing to capture Kiev. The war between Ukraine and Russia has intensified for the 3rd day. Ukrainian President Zhelensky has called on the world community to do something about sanctions.
Deputy Defense Minister Hannah Mallyar said Russian forces had lost about 3,500 troops and more than 100 tanks during the offensive in Ukraine.
More than 3,500 Russian soldiers have been killed so far, the Ukrainian military said on its Facebook page.
It said more than 3,500 Russian soldiers involved in the invasion had been killed and about 200 had been arrested.
In addition, Russia lost 14 aircraft, 8 helicopters and 102 tanks. Russia has not yet agreed on the number of casualties.
