Monkey measles which spread in African countries is now spreading to more than 92 countries including Australia, USA and England. As the number of people affected by monkey measles continues to increase across the world, the governments of the countries are intensifying health measures around the world.

In this situation, the World Health Organization has reported that the number of people infected with monkey measles has exceeded 35 thousand. 12 people have died so far. It noted that nearly 7,500 cases were reported last week, a 20% increase from the previous week.

Vaccines also play an important role in controlling the spread of monkeypox and in many countries, there is a high need for vaccines to administer to victims, WHO chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.
