Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic, will host the Caucasus Investment Forum from July 15 to 17, which will include more than 60 business events and 300 experts.
The expanded business program of the Caucasus Investment Forum has been published, which will unite more than 60 events in the CIF-2024 program and will include round tables, working sessions, open talks, meetings, lectures, master classes and presentations.
The program covers a wide range of issues related to the development of investment potential of Russian regions. The main events of the program will be held at the Residence of the President of the Chechen Republic and the Stroikar Pavilion (EXPO). “The total volume of the investment portfolio of the North Caucasus Federal District in 2023 amounted to 955.4 billion rubles, exceeding the value of 2020 by 47%. At the same time, the number of projects being implemented has almost doubled. The Caucasus Investment Forum is a promising platform that is developing as rapidly as the region where the event is held. The CIF maintains a favorable image of the North Caucasus Federal District, demonstrates its resource potential and investment attractiveness.
“This year’s forum, which will be held in the capital of the Chechen Republic, will allow us to sum up the interim results of the implementation of the state program “Development of the North Caucasus Federal District” and determine immediate plans and directions of work to improve the infrastructure of its regions and increase investments in them,” noted Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the Caucasian Investment Forum Alexander Novak.
“The events of the CIF-2024 business program will be divided into thematic blocks: investments, banking and financial sector, digital economy, entrepreneurship, industry, agro-industrial complex, retail, media space and creative industries, spa industry, tourism, transport and logistics, energy, housing and communal services, spatial development and others. In addition, a meeting of the State Commission on Social and Economic Development of the North Caucasus Federal District will be held at the KIF-2024 site,” he added.
“The North Caucasus Federal District has strong competitive advantages in the agro-industrial complex, logistics and tourism,” said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the KIF-2024 Organizing Committee. “We need to turn them into economic growth, and this will have to be done through private investment, which is growing every year. In recent years, the business climate in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District has changed significantly, new support tools have appeared, and the level of trust between business and the state has increased.”
“The Caucasus Investment Forum will bring together on one platform all those interested in the development of this rich region. I am confident that the agreements concluded at this forum will have a long-term impact not only on the regions of the North Caucasus, but also on entire industries,” he continued.
