Israel has been continuing its war on the Gaza Strip for more than 10 months, with more than 60 Palestinians killed in the past hours due to the continued violent bombardment.
Israeli gunboats opened fire on a paddle boat (a type of fishing boat) off the fishing port in Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip, killing a fisherman who fell into the water and injuring another. A child was also killed in the Israeli army’s shelling of the Deir al-Balah market in the central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli artillery renewed its shelling of the eastern part of Deir al-Balah city, and the Israeli air force carried out several raids in the eastern Ramzon area of the city. The Israeli army also blew up residential buildings in the southern part of the city, and the Israeli army bombed a house in the eastern part of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, which led to injuries.
In the southern Gaza Strip, dozens were injured when the occupation forces opened fire on the tents of the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah. The occupation forces’ artillery shelled the Al-Zeitoun, Al-Sabra and Tal Al-Hawa neighborhoods in Gaza City, while its aircraft bombed the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood east of the city. An Israeli air strike targeted the northeastern areas of Khan Yunis.
The Palestinian death toll due to the war on Gaza, which has been ongoing for the 320th day, has risen to more than 40,173 dead and 92,857 wounded.
