Among the 917,000 candidates – senior high school students and reorientation students – who confirmed at least one wish, “more than 600,000 received a positive response, which is a completely correct rate”said the minister. “Knowing that we are only at the beginning of the process, since this first phase extends until July 7”he added.

For candidates, several responses from higher education establishments are possible for each of their wishes: to be accepted (« oui »), be conditionally accepted (” if yes “for university courses which require the student to follow an educational or personalized support course), be on the waiting list or even be refused (only for selective courses).

High school students must respond by 11:59 p.m. Sunday at the latest for proposals made on the 1is and June 2 and Monday at 11:59 p.m. for those received on June 3. For proposals received from Monday, they must respond no later than the following evening.

Absenteeism situations

At the same time, an additional admission phase will allow candidates to formulate from June 15 up to ten new wishes in the training courses that still have places.

The minister also put “on guard” high school students who might be tempted not to come to class after the early baccalaureate exams, “miscalculation”according to him : “For students who have not received favorable responses from Parcoursup on 1is June, and who are therefore in the complementary phase, the grades of the third quarter count. »

Institutions report “absenteeism situations”however acknowledged the Minister, without giving precise figures, recalling that he instructed William Marois, former rector of the Academy of Nantes, “to make proposals” on the subject “by early fall”.
