/ On Thursday, the Israeli Army Radio presented a different account of the massacre committed against Palestinians in Nabulsi roundabout, while Palestinian sources reported an increase in the number of victims and wounded.
The radio reported that “some of the crowds approached the Israeli soldiers, which put them in danger, so they responded by opening fire.”
She added, “The incident occurred near the humanitarian road that our forces are securing, where, as a result of the violent gathering and the run-over incident, part of the crowd approached a military force that was about to allow the transfer of aid. The crowd approached in a way that posed a danger to the forces, which responded by opening fire.”
According to the Palestinian news agency “Wafa”, the death toll from the attack on the Nabulsi roundabout west of Gaza City rose to more than 104 dead and about 700 wounded.
Medical sources reported that the dead and wounded were transferred to the following hospitals: Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Kamal Adwan, and Al-Awda, in the northern Gaza Strip, indicating that the number of dead is likely to increase due to the presence of a number of critical cases, in light of the severe shortage of supplies and medicines, and the lack of medical personnel.
An Israeli source told Sky News Arabia that the investigations into the Nabulsi roundabout incident will take some time.
The Palestinian presidency condemned “the massacre committed by the Israeli army on Thursday against citizens who were waiting for the arrival of aid trucks at the Nabulsi roundabout near Rashid Street in Gaza City, which led to the martyrdom and injury of hundreds.”
Hamas sources reported on Thursday that there were deaths and injuries southwest of Gaza City as a result of an Israeli attack.
